Cycled Love

Did I fall for someone full of smoke?
Always fogging up our mirrors.
Always tethered together.
What tarot card describes us well?
The devil.
The lovers.
I hate you.
I love you.
A chain.
A fated tie.
A nightmare.
A dream.

Wow Destiny, this one was very clever. I liked the whole tarot card analogy. Sometimes it's more than one.

Thank you! I am glad you enjoyed the tarot reference. I have been studying tarot and the imagery came to mind. I felt it was perfect for the poem.

A difficult situation to ever get out. The short lines show the intensity well! Great one Destiny!

Thank you! I felt short lines suited the emotion I needed to convey. Yes breaking a romantic cycle is one of the hardest lessons we learn. It takes everything in you to walk away.

All of those. They are all aspects which enter our lives as we live and learn from it.

Thank you for taking the time to read and comment! I couldn't agree more. The hardest lesson is a breaking a cycle. I also wanted to say I am sorry about before. I was misinformed about the situation. We believe in the same things. I would like to talk to you about it sometime.

Hello. By all means message me. I don't think i'm quite as terrible as some would have others believe.

Hey, I like this one. I don't know much about Tarot, but it doesn't matter, One can get the sense of the poem from the words. Cycles in a relationship, the good, the bad, the ending. Well done. - Phil A.

Thank you! I took your words into consideration on the other poem. I am brushing up on the rules of grammar. As well as being more watchful with revision.

Interesting poem and I'll read up more about Tarot.

The smoke can be an aesthetic wonder or a passion for delinquent moralities. Either way, it's a good poem. Thank you for sharing. I've had some smoke at times, and so have others around me.
