Tune: Thornbury
('Thy hand, O God, has guided')
Psalm 73 v.23-28
********
I am continual with you
O holy God and true
You have upheld me, did take
My hand, me not forsake
You shall guide me with counsel
I shall prosper, fare well
Then receive me to glory
Forever with you be
Whom have I in heaven, Lord
But you, and too your word
And there is none upon earth
Can compare to your worth
None that I desire but you
By faith I do you view
My flesh and heart may fail me
But you e'er constant be
For God is strength of my heart
My rock, shall not depart
he my portion for ever
Shall desert me never
For look, they that are afar
From you, our guiding star
Shall perish, the unfaithful
Yet faithful be made whole
It is good for me to draw
Near to God, know Him sure
I have put my trust here in
The Lord, God, and from sin
He shall save me, that I may
Declare all His works, ways
Abiding in Him, He in me
Bear fruit for His glory
