Jerry Reynolds

Tombstones pearly white
Heel toe plant the colors
Ore rolling hills out of sight
Gunpowder dreams gone a flutter
This for you my bolder brother

Short but powerful write Jerry. 😉

      Thanks, A.P.
This is for Memorial Day. Today soldiers and children visit the graves of the fallen and put the heel of their right foot on the back of the headstone and push a small flag into the ground at the toe of their foot.

Very fitting tribute for our brave and fallen soldiers. 😉

Words of an era when a constitution was nobly written with intent but sadly now clung to and in definite need of re-addressing.

          Thanks, Dusk.
That is the root debate of our time. How to interpret the constitution, Bible or Koran.
Literal or rhythm of the time. If we choose wrong we all die.

          Thanks, Teddy.
This is for our Memorial Day. A bit too emotional about Texas and Buffalo to pen a poem just some notes as yet.

Strong words Jerry, this should not ever happen!
