The name we all cry out in fear,
who holds us close to her heart so near,
The first to wipe away a falling tear,
Whose comforting words so merry to the ear.
The face that appears when thinking of home,
The place we end up wherever we roam,
The one who can fix us when we feel torn,
With welcoming hugs ever so warm.
Even if the whole world turns against me,
By my side, she’ll forever be.
She is our loving mother,
who loves us like no other.
