Tune: Morning Hymn
('New every morning is the love')
Based on a prayer by St Ambrose (337-397AD)
********
O Lord, who has mercy on all
Forgive me my sins, I not fall
Mercifully kindle in me
The fire of your Spirit brightly
Take away from me heart of stone
Give me a heart of flesh alone
To love and adore you, a heart
To delight in you every part
And too follow you constantly
And too enjoy you thankfully
Holy Spirit, who in hearts live
Of believers, you us grace give

What's with stones this week! Everywhere I look its about stone wings and stone hands and now, hearts of stone. Must be something in there Fred Flintstone.
Thanks Fred, erm CB!
