Ghetto Day Dreams

Ghetto Day Dreams

Quietly beginning a new day
ghetto dreams are waking
for flight.
But the alleys of despair
look so enticing
in the hue of the morning light.
It just might be,
ghetto dreams are meant to travel
at night.
