Came that day,
The day of your birth.
You cried to show all,
Show all that you were alive
And the world rejoiced,
Rejoiced at your birth.
In your life you gave all,
Gave all to help others.
And they loved you so much
That when you died
The world cried,
But you rejoiced.

A fine write Gold.
That must have been 50 million years ago when the world rejoiced that you and I were born! Was there anyone else about then?! lol.
Apparently there were not and the way the world is going nobody will be there in a few years time when we leave this earth.
Andy
There is a quote 'Live so as to be missed [when you're gone]'.
Ain't no one gonna miss my singing; they won't be crying over it. Well, they will - crying out of relief! heehee.
Your words set out the true meaning of life that if well spent will end in satisfaction. Good to read that doing our best is the right way to live - thank you for sharing this Andy
Thank you Fay, I wish all would do their best for others then we would live in a much better world.

What to do with all the wisdom we take with us?
That we should have passed on to those that were prepared to listen d a.
Andy
sadly, I too
know the truth of these words
'that's why, we
who endure, must strive
to make the best of life!'
thanks Andy
Thank you Mek, yes we must make the best of our lives.

Now they just rejoice when the lottery ticket comes up. Social media has replaced god and good in favour of, me,me,me. The world is in the hands of a madman at the moment. Beats me why we're still hanging around pampering him.
Very true Paul but within ourselves we must do the best we can to help and guide those around us.
