A barren plot of land.
The place in which it stood.
Once a thing of beauty,
now a piece of wood.

It is so sad that woods are being destroyed Blueledge.
Andy
Especially ancient woodland. It's been there for hundreds of years and is still healthy. Once it's gone replanting doesn't bring it back.
