Tune: Lauds
('There's a spirit in the air')
2 Corinthians 1 v.3-5
********
Blessed be God, the Father He
Of our Lord Jesus Christ, see
The Father of mercies He
And God of all comfort be
He does comfort us in our
Tribulations, in their hour
That we may be able to
Comfort those in trouble too
It shall be with the comfort
That we from our God have sought
And which He gives us, so we
Share that comfort gratefully
For 'tis as the sufferings
Of Christ abound in us, [the] things
That trouble, consolations
Too abound, God us them brings

you can beat an egg, but you just can't beat a bit of comfort can ya ... 🙂
Thanks N. Yep, this is pretty comforting, yes? 🙂
Good one Orchi but where is the comfort in Ukraine!!
Thanks Gold. Difficult to answer that, yes. Sometimes we (or I) am caught up in my own comfort and cosiness. At times we might forget things that are 'out there somewhere'.
