We have all heard of them,
The seven wonders of the world,
The seven wonders of the Ancient World.
The Great Pyramid of Giza,
The Colossus of Rhodes,
The Lighthouse of Alexandria,
The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus,
The Temple of Artemis,
The Statue of Zeus,
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon,
But only the Great Pyramid of Giza survives.
We do have another seven wonders,
Seven wonders of the world
That are with us all the time
And should be truly appreciated.
To see,
To see the world of love that is with us.
To hear,
To hear the wonder of our world,
Natures symphony playing for us.
To touch,
To touch the things around us
And feel the wonder within them.
To taste,
To taste the good things
That we put in our mouths.
To feel,
To feel the glory that others give,
Give us to lift our lives.
To laugh,
To laugh at and with each other
Bringing such healing to our lives.
And lastly to love,
To love all around us
And bring peace to our world.
If we all love each other
Our world would be healed,
And life would be so good.
So just remember,
Remember they are still there,
The seven wonders exist,
Exist within our minds and bodies
And should be shown to all.

Good write Gold.
Ohh, you and I saw all of the original seven wonders in person. Did we help build the pyramids?
I was supervising the building of the pyramids in my job as a time and motion officer.
(I was work study officer for a while in a local council. LOL)
Andy
Was the Council ancient too - with fogeys?!
lol
Join our nuttiness at times, Verona. Or might be always! lol.
I doubt that.
What are you doubting, my words or Orchidee's comment?
Well I guess I'm the awkward one because the biggest 'wonder' of them all for me is our heartbeat. That throbbing in the chest of every living being. What is this amazing life giving pulse we take for granted.
It's my supreme wonder and without it - we are nought. We may be able to bring it back sometimes but we cannot create it other than to procreate, which in itself is another wonderful thing.
So true d a, but love is an integral part of our heart.

A beautiful write Andy. Yes, if everyone could love one another it would heal the world of all negativities. 🙂
Thank you AP, yes it surely would.
