the green

dusk arising

I knew there was more,
more than i had seen.
Perhaps my eyes were blind to it
or maybe i should
sit awhile, becalmed
and try to absorb
the cool damp, inhale
the tranquil atmosphere
soothed by the relaxing
sonorous song of
the leaf kissed breeze
showering cascades of light
as if to hypnotise, mesmerise.
And so so gently, this woodland surround
relaxes into it's dance
of silken charmed caress
as sycamore dancers
chance and steal across
a daring of shadow
on point of pixie toe slipper
in a breeze of harmonic waves
rippling supple pleasure of motion
all at one with...  uuggghh
...a warm tongue on my face
and dog's breath
'get off me beast!' a small dog
is licking my face, I must have fallen asleep.

Beautiful, Dusk. The loving reminder of a dog. It's time to move on.

I was drifting off and lost for words in my minds eye... needed a stark reality to abruptly pull me round... wuff wuff.
