Arrgghhh! nearly posted from the wrong note-book
My note-book of poems sitting there
Inviting - threatening(?) - another song from me
On me ego trip
I must sing each of my hymn-poems
At least 20 times
Though everyone else has ear-plugs in!
But, nearly a major disaster
I nearly inflicted it on ya
Nearly an extract from.....
The World's Most Boring Book
No one can ever reach the end of it
They either rage in frustration
Or break down in boredom of tears
Or doze of to sleep apart-way through
But Woof! What are you on about? says Fido
What is this book?
Of horrors, of boredom, of being unbearable to read?
Well, Fido, It's my job-searching book
'Anoraks' might read it
Very dull or 'sad' people, that is!
I retire before too long anyway
I'm in a sort of limbo at the moment
Not to wish my life away until pension
It's deffo worse reading that
Than it is hearing me sing
The same song 20 times
And worse than watching a week of 'Neighbours'
[or insert name of a ghastly soap series of your own country}
Is Bouncer still in 'Neighbours? asks Fido
They are friends!

I'm sure it would have been fine.
Thanks Blue. Could ya survive reading it?! lol.
If it's about the different types of concrete then I've read it
Thanks SC. Yep, nearly as interesting as the book - or the one on techniques of watching paint dry. lol.
Oh an absolute classic.
It's very 'sad' but some people have read the paint book twice. lol.
It was better than fifty shades
I tried reading that, but swooned - after page 2? lol.
Good morning fun, Orchi.
Cats are never boring.
Thanks Jerry. It was me dog (imaginary), Fido, suggested the fun cat clips! lol
Good fun write Orchi. I do have a book entitled "What men understand about women" it is full of blank pages!
Andy
Ahh thanks Gold lol. And you have another book too? 'What happens when politicians open their mouths'?
