My best poems
Were never written.
They blossomed within
The cherry sweet soul
At times of Grace and Serendipity.
They were
Never heard;
As the ears were deafened by
The hymns of laughter.
Never seen;
As the eyes were smeared by
The dews of joy.
Never spoken;
As the throat was robbed from
Words of expression
When awestruck.
But experienced;
As the arrows of wondrous moments
Pierced the heart
Leaving imprints of imperishable memories
In the form of evanescent poetry;
Blissful, Transcendental and Serene.

- Comment from author about the poem: I dedicate this piece to my countless yet breathtaking poems that bloomed spontaneously within me at weird and wonderful times, that I was so unfortunate not to record or unable to recall it later. My unwritten poems gave me goosebumps moments as they spontaneously arose within the field of my mind, capturing the details of my emotions very intriguingly.

Great words! I know that feeling to well!
Thanks!
I can think of a poem lying in bed, compose it, correct it, lay it all out in my head….wake up next morning and cannot remember what it was about!
nicely penned poem, as I to can understand what you are saying.
