I'm sorry I really upset you,

I didn't mean to make you cry,

But from the things that you later told me,

I now quite understand, why.

 

But I hope that your tears are all gone now,

That your face is refreshed now and bright,

That you slept well, and woke up pain free,

And did some wonderful dreaming last night !
