The confines of my mind
But it feels oh so good
To turn back the pages of time
To be anywhere near you
In the radiance of your smile
Other girls were nice
But none with your style
And there you are, center stage
Unknowingly in the spotlight
The star within my heart
And for me it’s never felt so right
Wherever you are now Sharon
You’re also in my heart
As you have been since 1967
A long ago start
The warmth within my heart
Is the love I feel for you
Radiating like the Sun
