Tune: St Fulbert
('Ye choirs of new Jerusalem')
Psalm 62 parts
************
Truly my soul on God does wait
He shall help me not late
From Him come my salvation sure
Lasting for evermore
Help us, O Lord, where distracted
Where away from you led
Matters of life, in everything
May we them to you bring
Prayer and practical action go
Together, this we know
But putting you first, not worry
What the outcome shall be
In God is my salvation, He
Too sure be my glory
Rock of my strength and refuge, so
His upholding I know
Trust in Him at all times, people
Pour out your hearts and call
On Him, lay burdens at His feet
Find consolations sweet

Trust and mistrust; the first life skill developed. Was it Erich Fromme that formulated that? Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
