The Spider

Aniahmator

There once was a big black spider

Who wowed everyone who eyed her

But once the door was closed

That’s when the fake light dozed

Her babies were once warm and cozy

But now they were no longer rosy

The webs they weaved showed imperfections

But that led her feelings in misdirections

Her venom flowed through their veins

But it was their sadness that reigned

They were too nice for this world

But from her their feelings were more whirled

”Fight on!” she said with all her vigor

But the babies wouldn’t grow any bigger

The spider will soon leave them behind

Not caring if her babies are in a bind

So to you I say who reads this story

Remember the tale of the babies not living in glory

And if they could cast just one spell

They’d curse their mother’s venom to Hell

I hate spiders.. But really glad I read your poem. I thought it was great and the rhyme and flow was excellent.
