WHY !
What do I do on these long, long nights
When my minds in a total muddle
What do I do when I go to bed
And there's no-one there to cuddle
What do I do with these empty arms
That search for you all night ?
What can I see, I'm missing you
And you are far from sight ?
Where do i go when I need some love
And some passion in my life ?
Where are you my precious one
My lover and my wife ?
Why did it all have to end this way
What on earth did we do wrong ?
Why did God take you from me
When we famously got along ?
What did you have to suffer for
Why were you racked with pain ?
Why am I left here without you
What did God have to gain ?
How long must I spend not knowing
The love that we two shared ?
Will i ever again know the tender love
Of a woman like you who cared ?
