ME!

QueenMax

ME!

Paint me, yeah you

Yes, I need you to draw me

To feel me

Don't be afraid to come inside of me

Treat me. Like a little girl in the candy shop

Yes, I want that soda pop

Wrap your arms around me

See me, hold me tight

Make me feel ya pain

Until it feels so good

Like rain on a muggy day

Listen to what I say

Hear me

Breathe life into me

Hang on and don't let go of me

I need you, yes YOU Just me Only me

Walk with me slow, then fast, then slow again

Let our shadow be one

So synced it'll be like we just won

Born together under the sun

Show me, your heart

I promise never to tear it apart

I'll hold it close to me

Ah-Tavia Please come to me

  • Comment from author about the poem: Many times, we run from spending time with ourselves. Afraid to face ourselves, our flaws, our pain. Crowd ourselves with others to avoid the silence. This piece is my inner self calling and begging me to pay ME some attention and to accept all of me.

This touched me hey, sometimes we give people the love we owe ourselves and when we're alone it all comes back to us as rain. It's definitely worth more to love ourselves, spoil ourselves, serenade ourselves and breathe life into our lungs. I was uplifting by this, thanks for sharing
