The hot sunny day was at an end,
Trying to keep cool was impossible
But now at evening it was cooler
And here I sat with my lover
Listening to Nature Symphony
As it played its final movement,
A glass of fine Rioja to hand.
We just sat looking at each other,
The love between us so very strong
Being shared with Natures glory.
As we looked into each other’s eyes
We could see the love in our hearts,
A love that would never die.
Such a glorious evening,
Sharing our love with Natures Symphony.

Good write Gold. Did I turn up with water for the Rioja and spoil the day?! lol.
I actually saw some ginger beer. It said use 1 part beer and 10 parts water - or it blows your head off!

Such joy in sharing the simple things you love, with the one you love. My husband and I share early morning coffee on our deck, watching the birds and just talking. I feel this poem very deeply, and thank you for sharing this sentiment so beautifully.
