It Only Takes One Little Thing
I rarely think
or write of her these days
until that is
a sound or scent, or touch
or taste,
just happens to remind me
of her ways ..
and then, like an avalanche
they flood
and crash upon this hapless
mind of mine ..
and I do swear that should
we ever meet
again, I shall not hesitate
to fuck her
next time, from behind ..
Just like she
always wanted, in the carpark
of our
favourite roadside restaurant ..

Woof! Fido spotted the F. You've started him off again! lol. As I say, no excitement for me. Fido chucks buckets of cold water over me at first sign of any friskiness - he would!
Why did I pre-empt that I wonder 🙂
I sympathisr with all of you Teddy. Here we are bothered about the rains. A good write teddy enjoyed reading it.
I'm not sure I understand but I feel inclined to thank you anyway 🙂
Things of mere insignificance can jog back to memory such intimate moments ---- --- and who but thee can pen honesty better with word-art to show she's still in your heart.
Honestly, you are way too kind, for my own good Fay ............................................. Neville
'who let the dogs, out!'
or, who's
'outing themselves as the dogs
we all, are
warped
by that prism, of belated regret
grasping
at crude, objectification to ease
the ache
that's making it hard to breathe..'
or
you know, its all just the heatwave
making us confess
our hellish thoughts...
lol
a great read! dear Poet supreme
Cheers Mek & thanks for your understanding .............. Neville
Wow! From Elizabeth Barrett Browning to W.H. Auden in one fell swoop. Yes, memory has so many triggers. The trick is to prioritize.
......................................... absolutely .. thanks' for the tip Bella .. Neville
Those memories happen and bring such strange thoughts to use for writing down.
Andy
they do indeed my little golden wonder, and like one's very own, freshly laundered washing, where else would you have me hang them? ................................ Neville
