the moon knows a plain truth
there was absolutely nothing we ever wanted
than heart keep,
we waited until the end of life
to caress each other's wounds,
the moment when we wished
time would cease to exist,
every time i held her
there were always more rooms to explore,
the untouched butterfly wings,
i thought she was the star
that filled my darkest nights with shining hopes
but she had galaxies in her veins,
no one knew,
sadness was the irrevocable love,
we had horrible terror of being broken
just to realize
our hearts were already in each others hands

- Comment from author about the poem: It's been almost a year since I wrote this poem. I had emotional strings but now I'm free so, I think now I'm ready to put this poem out in the world.

Really beautiful poem, talking about how to love and the other didn't know how to or is that last line about sticking a needle...
Yeah, last line shows the ironical way of love how they were afraid of something and their fear catching up with them at the end!
Indeed very well, I enjoy reading your writes.
Thank you Raven, I hope you like all my future poems!
Your welcome and am looking forward to it.
