Well that was it,
The last rehearsal,
The last rehearsal for our concert.
We sang our hearts out
And the enjoyment surrounded us,
The joy of singing was wonderful.
We sang for two hours
Going through the complete programme.
We were ready,
Ready to show the wonder of singing,
The wonder of singing to all.
Music is so powerful
And it streams from our hearts,
Through our voices
Into the ether for all to hear
And bring joy to everyone.
