Tune: Crimond
('The Lord's my Shepherd')
Psalm 27 v.4
********
If one wish, one desire, one thing
Amongst life's everything
What shall we choose, what shall it be
We wish to have and see?
The Psalmist his one thing desired
It his intentions fired
He desired of the Lord, did seek
Him with soul humble, meek
It was that he may dwell within
The Lord's house, free from sin
All the days of his life to view
The Lord's beauty anew
For him it be delightfulness
The Lord would prosper, bless
Him as he in temple enquired
Of the Lord, so [he] desired

I read this in the morning and it was [being about my Lord] pretty enough but I didn't get it. I read it again a few hours on, and it is delightful [now awake.]
I too am seeking to dwell in the house of God.
Thanks for sharing this heart-stirring piece.

Thanks La. One thing you're wanting - is me to chuck cold water over you, to wake you up?! lol.
It's pretty hot here in the desert, that might be nice. 🏜️ 🌊
