It was so nice to awake to normality.
Never liked waking up in a sweat,
Global warming displayed all around us'
Showing just how bad things will get.
All this fossil fuel we're still burning,
Mankind alone must truly be blamed,
And these war's like Ukraine, are not helping,
With all that burning and bombing sustained.
This all stems from industrialisation,
From way back in Victoria's day,
While gold mining destroy's Brazil's Rainforest,
Helping melt all our Arctic ice caps away.
We know that ocean's and sea's are all rising,
While our coastlines are eroding real fast,
Time's now come that we all got together,
Or our world as we know it won't last.
If we don't change our way's in the future,
Slow down greehouse gases and such,
There won't be a life for our descendant's,
While this planet keeps heating so much !

Got that right, I think.
I only take exception (and I do keep repeating myself here) to the use of 'us' and 'we' when this seems an easy way to avoid the obligation of discovering who, and how many are to blame and nailing them!
Loved this write, It is so true what it is saying but somehow people just don't get it which is sad. nice flow..
