Plethora.
How by high summer
does one shake of a tree
drop ripest of fructus
addiction on me ?
Pregnant with juices
a ready plum belly
bulges with swollen
indulgent expectance.
Viscous saliva escapes
open lips for plum-red
plethora outstrips my
other big obsessions.
I squeeze firstly invite
to succulent pleasure
for satin-smooth skin
holds ambrosial flesh.
How, I repeat, does one
shake of my plum tree
drop sudden plum-fever
addiction on me ?

Very fruity, Fay............Got my juices going......
Seriously rich imagery worth returning to every now and again - favorites time...
Masses of thanks for this juicy comment Dave - -- so pleased too it is now part of your faves.
Pop round to our front garden - more plum on the hedge than we can eat, sadly wasting.
Am on my way with haste dear Orchi -- bringing my basket too.
How can I resist my lady Fay .. she knocks Juicy Lucy outa the way ...
Tis true tho' me luverly, I do so love a damson in distress .. it brings out the here n now in me ........... x
Ha - What can be better than releasing a distressed damson I ask - -- though am glad that I knock the spots off that Juicy Lucy .................x
I too enjoy plums and love your words Fay.
Andy
