There's a reason why we make mistakes,
So we aren't so full of ourselves
The irony is, that those who are full of themselves
Make the most mistakes
I just love irony

United States – no irony.
This everybody knows - so there!
So who are you to buck the trend?
You claim you’re English? Don’t you dare…
Subscribing to stereotypes
I need to get a few lines in
Now if that’s the best I can do
With an argument just so thin……………
But unless I’m mistaken (and I do make some) yours is a good ’un, Bella.
Thank you dear boy, for those inspiring and witty remarks. It's a cloudy day here, and you just made me smile.
Forsooth m'dear, you are indeed the Princess of Irony.
Good fun words Bella and so true.
Andy
Thank you my friend, I can't turn on the TV without getting an overdose, gonna need rehab before long.
I'm write behind you all the way Bella .. this is a little gem ..
Oh' n just for the record, I once bought my wife one of them old hot irons that you plug into a wall for her birthday ..
She responded with a headbutt to me nose ..
I can't stand it anymore she said, I hate this bloomin game .. now that's ironic, I suppose ... 🙂
Well Neville, at least it wasn't something totally useless like flowers or jewelry, I hate that. Wait a minute, I think I just committed irony, I'm guilty of my own critique.
The sad thing is, these people never realise they're full of themselves, they just stumble on.
Thank you Paul, and you are so right. Stumbling through life is no way to live.
so true dear Poet
(we have ironing boards
to straighten out those mistaken kinks
in those façades we wear
to fit-in with society's zeal for make believe
yet we spend our lives, being judged
by those who can never
find the wrinkles in that persona
mirror reflection...)
