She feels like the sun.
In her presence, darkness fades away,
Her light brings comfort, come what may.
With a smile that shines, just like the sun's rays, Brightening up my world in beautiful ways.
She has an awe-inspiring spirit, to keep her close is a desire of mine.
She is a friend I am proud to have.
When around, shadows of blues are never lurking,
When clouds of doubt obscure my day, She parts them with kindness and love.
My smile is never far away,
since her energy and light bring such warmth,
Chasing away, the scary cold.
The day could end,
as she slowly says her goodbye,
Reluctant to let her go I whisper tomorrow yeah?
With a gentle smile she agrees, And soon the stars are glittering.
The moon lucent in the background, Signalling hope that, it will never get dark,
We might part ways but, our love will always have its spark.
When the shadows retreat, as a new day unfolds, I run back to her, with the purest love that always shows.
And hand in hand though life's winding track, We will journey together without holding back.
