So Much

Fay Slimm.

So Much.

To pluck from a sparkling dawn brisk words of applause
when on golden mornings
I watch a sunflower slowly lifting its ruff-tight corsetted
under vest of nectared
yellow while nature pours forth droplets of insect food
on awakening blooms,
when bent rosebuds loaded in dew for bees  straighten
and marigold faces
politely shake welcome to morning  my hope to quill
these floral blessings  with
adequate words which  do credit to beauty by poetry
pales with so much to see.

The garden before you, or the one in your mind's eye must be a sight to behold rich in the nurture and cherish you give us in your poetry such that visions unfold of these delicate natural blooms.
I've said, along with others and many times, you truly do have such a talent in this poetic craft. None here bring such a "realness" to natural beauty as do your fingers.

                Fine imagery, Fay.
Lovers of dawn and early morning. Find a spot any spot and bide there for longer than a while.

Yes you are right on the ball Jerry - - it has to be a spot of quiet too - - well at least for me. What marvels we miss if we dont sometimes see the dawn in.
