In our lives we often have bad times
But then somebody makes you laugh.
Sometimes we cannot do anything
As our body is so tired,
But then we have a long sleep.
Thinking about these things makes you realise
That a good laugh
And a long sleep
Are the two best cures,
Best cures for everything.
So laugh out in your life
And all will be well,
Sleep well in your life
And all will be better.

Ain't no laughing when I sing. Best to be asleep through my recitals! lol.
So true Orchi.

Absolutely agree with you here. Above all, be gentle with yourself.
Thank you d a, yes we must all be gentle with ourselves.

I'm gonna try & put your last four lines to the test the next time I'm on call and get summoned to the holding cells at the local nick in the middle of the night , just so some other soul can get some shuteye ...
Neville .. 🙂
Yes it must be worth doing Neville. 😂😂😂
that's why insomnia
is such an evil, hindrance
to our whole wellness
and sleeping pills, are such a dangerous slippery-slope
to addiction's or unhealthy over reliance's, doors..
but I have found powernaps
are a great way to get your accumulative sleep..
as for laughter
get it wherever you can
laugh till you can't breathe and be grateful
for each chuckle..
(such a great read, Andy
and so, so
timely and relevant)
thank you!
Thank you Mek, yes power naps do help on occasion but they don't like me having them on the croquet lawn, LOL.

Agreed dear Andy - and my feet are still tapping to that Beach Boys number - -wow - those were the days - -I loved and still love their sound.
Thanks Fay. Yes I too like the Beach Boys. I have just got some new music for our Choir which includes "The Best of The Beach Boys"

Andy, You need to put your sage advises together and write a self help book instead of scattering your pearls of wisdom around here (not suggesting you stop!!)
So kind Dave, your comment is much appreciated.
