Tune: Trentham
(one tune to 'Breathe on me, breath of God')
Ephesians 2 v.4-9 parts
*********
Because of His love great
For us, not left to fate
Are we, but God who is rich in
Mercy, forgave our sins
He did make us alive
In Christ, in Him we thrive
Even when we were spiritually
In dead state, in sins all
It is by grace that we
have been saved by faith, see
Not of our own doings, we can
Not save ourselves, no man
It is gift of God to
Us, in Christ we made new
So that no one in self can boast
But sole in Christ our host

Fine one, Orchi.
A turn toward hope is good.
Thanks Jerry.
I feel certain that this is a hymn poem in 6.6.8.6 format .. unless of course, we are both mistaken .. Neville 🙂
Thanks N. Yep, also known as 'Short Metre' or S.M. Not a syllable more or less! You woulda thought 6.6.6.6. would be shorter. Well it is, but I dunno why that isn't Short Metre. That's about the extent of my reading music.
Meanwhile - you can't beat.....You beaten that egg? How many ya having for supper?
Fresh dressed crab salad and the best part of a crusty baguette this evening Steven with a glass or two of vino ..
Sounds good. A pork pie and chips for me. lol.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
