Just write it all down on paper,
Let the world know the reason's why,
You hold so many real bad memories,
Why then shouldn't you decry !
All those moment's that you've cried alone,
With your broken heart and body bleeding,
Because you've been betrayed or worse,
Just because their love your needing.
You've walked this same path, many years,
Seeking out that friendly shoulder,
Of someone you could unburden to,
Before your broken heart grow's colder.
But trusting someone's very hard,
Because you've often been betrayed,
You find you can't trust anyone,
So, real frienship's been delayed.
Some day maybe you'll find someone,
A good friend with listening ear's,
But until that friendship comes along,
You'll stay well hid behind your fear's
Love either makes or breaks us,
And often we don't get a choice,
Of who or when we fall in love,
Or to give that happiness a voice.
It's not gone well for you so far,
And one thing you've truly learned,
Is the people that you've have picked so far.
Has always left you getting burned.
So, consider then your options,
In this game of love's open field,
Is it really any wonder why,
You've put up this massive shield ?
