Tune: Dominus Regit Me
('The King of love my Shepherd is')
Hebrews 13 v.20-21
**********
Good Shepherd, tend and keep your sheep
Whether they rejoice or weep
Your constant presence by their side
There be no better beside
Now the God of peace, He that brought
Again from the dead, He wrought
His mighty power, raised His Son
Our Lord Jesus, He the one
Through the blood of the e'erlasting
Covenant, cleanses each thing
May He make you perfect, complete
In every good work replete
Make you complete to do His will
Working in you His grace still
That which in His sight well-pleasing
Be through Jesus, praises ring

sheep dogs and electric fences both worked in my day 🙂
Thanks N.
I love the image as Jesus as Good Shepherd. A lovely write my friend.
Thanks Bella. I just read a bit from a course. It puts sheep-like people rather at the bottom of the pile, and as unexciting, in an employment/work context. But that's who we are as Jesus' followers, and need not be unexciting!
Amen, my friend.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
