Offices are modern day slavery
Conditioning fully to be a drone
Most get bullied
Few stand for bravery
Stick up for yourself
Fuck power and wealth
If there's others in the same situation
Try your best to help
But then again most people out for self
Probably wouldn't help you in return
They'll bend over backwards and watch you burn
I strive for all the righteous
We more than you think
It's better to keep your dignity than chase money
Laugh all you want, I don't find it funny
Manager's belittling staff in front of the whole office
I used to sit there and think what the fuck is this?
They powertrip and think they better than you
I'll never work in an office again
I'm through

Strong words Cc, I can understand where you come from but when I was working I always found that treating office staff with respect always made the people so much more efficient.

Completely agree, where I have worked in North West England they've always been on a weird power trip but nice that you found a good office.
Not just the office, but any job can have a culture which could be authoritarian or cooperative or any point between.
Good write which covers one extreme end of that spectrum. Absolutely right to walk away.
Yeah your completely right, depends what manager (master) you get I suppose. I can't go back to office work ever again. I'm through with it.
