My Dream !

I close my eyes, nodding in my chair,
I look all round, but you're not there,
I think of you, my love is deep,
I close my eyes, and drift into sleep.

Then I'm in my dream, and you appear,
We're side by side, my vision's clear,
And by my side's, where you should be,
There's no one else, just you and me.

There's none like you, nor could there be,
I'm here for you, you're here for me,
No one fill's my heart, the way you do,
I spend my life, waiting just for you.

I live my life now, in dreams night and day,
Dreaming that you, had never passed away,
But darling this, we know can't be,
You're in the earth, now it's just me !

My life's so lonely, here without you,
I just continue, what else can I do,
But I know some day, that we'll both be,
Brought back together, for eternity !
