Oh’ No .. Not Another Survivor
whether you found
these words
of mine by accident
or by design
why not consider
yourself to be
a survivor, for indeed
today, like me
at least, that is surely
what you are ..

You survived my singing? Who can?! lol.
that of course, is a matter of opinion and one I am happy to contest in a court of law sir ..
I have awoken.I am a survivor.
Well thought out Nev,and so true.
Good to hear Neil .. thanks again kind sir 🙂
I really enjoy poetry
where the voice, literally
jumps off the page and grabs the reader
to speak AT them directly, screaming
here
in this moment within this mirror
of ink, we're together
two sides, of a shared thought...
(a wonderful tool of poesy
I never get tired of;
for no other artistic medium, can make
such a bold reach for instantaneous
and intuitive, tangible connections)
just awesome! dear Poet
Thanks a million Mek ............. Neville

Or as Mel Brooks (age 96) once said,
"I get up in the morning. I read the newspaper Obits, if my names not there, I have breakfast." He's a survivor.
So, thanks for giving me a new classification for myself, and a new outlook on life. - Phil A.
You are most welcome Phil and I am truly grateful to you ........... Neville
Yes we are still here so we are all survivors.
Andy
Thank you Andy
Dear friend, I should have seen these words a couple of days ago. Here in my part of the world it seems like all hell is breaking lose, and I've drawn inside myself, trying to find some peace. Your words are balm on a painful wound, and I thank you for this wonderful reminder, we are survivors.
bless you dear Bella .. your visits to my various scribbles invariably put a smile on my face .. and of course, it's always good to know that you are not alone .. Neville
