Felt Care

Fay Slimm.

Felt Care.

Where felt care exists

hearth of hearts

begin to be  warmed.

Hurts melt without words

for friendship's

handshake breaks  silence.

Thanks muchly, Fay for this shorty.
Not to detract from your piece in any way, it reminded me of one of my favorite poems (ignore the artwork):

Yes Dave - quite moving words in the piece you left a link to - I agree that the poem is saying the same kind of thing - --nothing betters the handshake of friendship when life gets too rough eh? - thanks for your caring comment my friend.

Wonderfully penned, that physical connection we all need. So much can be said just by that simple touch.

Could not agree more my friend - - physical connection seems lacking more these days but touch is still a very powerful healer. -- So pleased you enjoyed the read.

I was one o them raised to believe a handshake must be delivered firmly unless there's a good reason to hold back on the squeeze ..

Today's offering makes perfect sense dear lady Fay .......... and I do now believe universally so ..... x

Handshakes are a polite greeting of course. My late father's handshake to me a few days before he passed, was the "strongest" I have ever felt. This was love at its very best.I so returned the compliment, holding back tears.

Thanks for sharing such a special handshake you exchanged with your father Neil -- a comforting memory indeed when love at its very best was contained in his last caring grip.

Those handshakes mean so much, very badly missed during the Covid times.
