Tune: Melcombe
('New every morning is the love')
Luke 9 v.27-36 parts
********
How often are we like Peter?
When mouth open and words do stir
To say something, when we should be
Listening to our Lord quietly
On the holy mount Jesus there
Did with Moses, Elijah share
In transfiguration revealed
His inner glory unconcealed
They spoke of His decease which He
Would make at Jerusalem, see
And a voice out of cloud did say
This my beloved Son, hear today
Hear him, my messages He brings
And not caught up with other things
Some that would distract, draw away
As He does, so do, watch and pray
Peter, James, and John, then they saw
Jesus only, and saw no more
Moses or Elijah, they gone
Disciples followed Christ, God's Son

good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold. I'm on me long words - ooh! It'll be hippo... next. What's the word?
Beautiful, crystal clear sight. To see the truth in all its splendor. Good write my friend!
Thanks Bella. Erm, better and clearer than when I may go waffling on then! lol. Since when did I waffle? heehee. I know it - when I go on about exploding book-cases. It's so ridiculous, I doubt I will forget for ages that I read it!
You cheer me to the fullest my friend, just keep being you!
I read something else wacky in this book, but have forgotten it! Doh!
