On this International Cat Day
You need not bark at cats
Only at people not marking poems 18+
When they should do!
You know they don't conveniently 'forget'
To mark up such poems
Now, c'mon Fido, be nice to our two cats
Brother and sister
Both 6 years old, born on the same day
Big black Tom cat
And tabby Queen cat (lady cat)
Fido likes cats really
As long as they don't pinch his bone
Ever seen a cat with a bone?!
We gotta have cats, Fido, don't you know?
To screech when they fight (they don't fight really)
And drown out my singing
As well as your barking!
You'll have your 'day' too, Fido
Every dog has his day, as they say
It's just that I dunno at the moment
When that day is!
Your day, Fido, Day For Dogs
Might be Christmas Eve for all we know
Now I've done it!
They will shoot me down

Cats are such arrogant creatures and for every small animal a falcon has for a meal to live four hundred get killed by cats for pleasure!
