Good-bye to the work week
A new agenda for me
The age of retirement
Dictating the time, I see
Social Security and Pension
My new income
With time on my side
My projects get done
Now my alarm clock works for me
With more time on my hands
Those projects and hobbies
All at my own command
My keyboard at my fingertips
When my Muse has spoken
Inspiring me
Of a lyrical devotion
Time challenges me
To fill my days
Keeping boredom at bay
Let me count the ways
From my life
Still enough left for giving
From the depths of my heart and soul
A life worth living
And should I
Run out of things to do
There’s always a chair on my porch
My back-up plan to go to
What used to be
Sunday through Friday
Now all the same
For now, everyday is Saturday

After twenty years of retirement, I'd endorse everything you have discovered, AP.
Let there be many Saturdays.
Thank you Dave.
A reply!!!
Retirement does make some folks mellow..... 😊
Now you won't have enough time to do everything - in retirement - as they say! lol.
But Orchi, I don't have to do everything. I can do whatever I want and when I can do it. 😁
Thanks AP. It's a fine Saturday today, and tomorrow, and.......!
Mate I'm envious. 20 years to go and I can't wait.
Just enjoy the ride Sax, you'll be there before you know it. 😁
Retirement is so wonderful AP, enjoy every moment of it like I do.
Andy
Been retired over a week now, and I'm still not bored. Thanks Andy.
Been retired for ten years now, and still not bored.

Man, this makes me look forward to retirement, and I'm only 25! LOL
Well, like a dog eating his meal, remember to taste it as it goes down. Enjoy 😁 And thank you.
