Restoration Rejoicings

Tune: Aurelia

('The church's one foundation')

Psalm 69 v.29-36 parts

********

When I poor and in sorrow

My state, Lord, do you know

O God, let your salvation

Raise poor, needy, each one

And I will praise His name here

A song with godly fear

His name great, I will thanks give

And in His presence live

The humble shall see, be glad

Not e'er be mournful, sad

Your heart shall live that do seek

God, the lowly and meek

The Lord hears the poor people

Attends the prisoners calls

Despises them not, so we

Worship Him here truly

Let heaven and earth Him praise

Through all their nights and days

And the seas, each living thing

Therein their praise Him bring

Joining with all creation

They of every nation

For He will save His city

On mount Zion it be

They shall repair where ruins

Are, new building begins

And shall dwell there, the Lord He

Their keeper, helper be

Descendants of His servants

Shall inherit, shall sense

The Lord God there, they His name

Do love, of worthy fame
