All through life we learn,
Learn so many things,
Every day brings something new.
That knowledge can be shared,
But then comes that day,
That day when we pass,
And when that happens
The library that has become us
Burns to the ground.

Good write Gold. You and I got about 5 million poems each, in our 'library' on this site? We're both nearing 2,000. Phew!
Thanks Orchi, yes only 10 to go to reach 2,000.

ohhhh, I like that image
'the library that has become us'
yes, indeed
destined to take it all with us
(unless we scribble it down, that is
and share it
with a handful or two, maybe then
those coming after us, can inherit
and heed our warnings
so they may steer clear
of those mistakes, we stubbornly
made...)
lol
wise words Andy, a lovely read
thank you! cherished Poet
Such kind words Mek, I am so very grateful for your input.

That’s it - get it out there before I go;
So I argue - someone else needs to know.
There is no good keeping it to my self,
Sustain knowledge out there, not on the shelf.
Good for you, Andy - keep up the good work.
Thanks Dave, helping others to know about what we have learned in our lives is so meaningful to all who realise that there is knowledge within us all.

So flippin true. I'm rotting away here so bought myself a flute on ebay (arrives next week). Something to keep me occupied if i can master the embouchure.
Ha.. some ppl find love, some find a flute LOL
Thank you d a.
I am sure that you can master the embouchure, I have mastered the trumpet and clarinet ones in the past so I am sure that you will.
