Spellbound

Neville

Spellbound

Flags, flax, fodder and frig

come dance

for me now my little fat pig ..

With your broken

blue bottles and your shiny

green birds ..

Come burn a cream candle

and listen for

secrets hidden in whispers

in code, ciphers

and sacred scratched words ..

Definitely some "eye of newt" about this piece amid it joyous splendour of a reading.

I feel that to dwell and seek measure in its words would betray the pure pleasure of it's reading.

I could not possibly ask for more than the accolade you have just pinned to this page .. thank you so much DA ............................................... Neville

Mysterious, cryptic, I just wish I had a dark and stormy night to read this by, but still a great read!

            • Neville

Hello Bella, please excuse the delay in my getting back to you .. I have ended up needing crutches having torn one of my cruciate ligaments .. crossing a road would you believe .. Funny isn't it, almost a whole month in the Ukraine and not a scratch .. and then bingo or rather bang my leg just popped just before I could post my bloomin letter ......... I kinda like the mysterious cryptic take you have on this little scribble .. I must confess however, I can not take all the credit .. if you want to uncryptify and de-mysterious some of it .. try Google the first line .. the one with all the F's and hopefully it will provide a little more insight .. but keep it to ya self, I wouldn't wanna spoil it for anyone else who happens to follow you here .... First of all I am so sorry to hear that the cruciate tore, and hope all goes well with your treatment, be it surgical or nonsurgical. It's bizarre how the smallest movement can sometime cause the biggest problems. As soon as I've hit "send" I will Google your first line, and mum's the word I promise. But I still love mysterious and cryptic, no matter how you write it. Take care my friend, and heal well!

Bewitched, oh the potion of time, pigs don’t sweat, I must say you matter.. lol
Best to you on your injury, and don’t let those pagan verses tatter your spirit..

Thank you Dove, much appreciated my fine feathered friend ............................... πŸ™‚
