Tune: St James (Courteville)
('Thou art the way, by thee alone')
Psalm 19 v.14
*********
Let the words of my mouth, I pray
O Lord, to you this day
Be acceptable in your sight
Lead us on in your light
And too the meditation, see
Of my heart, let it be
Pleasing to you, on what I muse
Lead us your way to choose
For you are our Lord, our strength be
You grant us grace freely
And you are our redeemer, let
Your mercies keep us yet
We your creatures, you Creator
You have made all for sure
So may we loving, humble be
This be our prayer, our plea

Amen. God bless you. His word, our strength.
Thanks Osei.
That title and the outworking of the plea flows smoothly to divine hearing.
Thanks CB.
Good one Orchi.
Thanks Gold.
unless I am mistaken, I imagine this will be a missive hit with your disciples and fans of hymn poems everywhere .. Neville
Thanks N. Erm, missive is meant to be 'especially a long message'. This is a bit of a shorty!
