Earlier holding your hand in mine,
Feeling that tremble in my knees,
I just fell for you, that very first time,
I felt safe and secure, and at ease.
I knew right then I never wanted to miss,
The rest of my life spent with you,
That simply from that very first kiss,
There was nothing else that I wanted to do.
That very first kiss I can never forget,
With those palpitations it gave to me,
Still many years on, without any regret
I still get them perpetually !
