Sharing Service

('The church of God a kingdom is')

John 13 v.5, 13-15

***********

Jesus did wash disciples feet

They dusty in the heat

Of path they trod, He humbly there

Did show them service, care

He said, If I your Lord, Master

Have washed your feet for sure

You ought also to follow me

Lowly foot-washers be

Sharing, serving one another

To loving actions stir

Following Jesus' example

Living up to His call

Lord, give us grace, in word and deed

To be servants indeed

And at times open to be served

By others, love observed

        Thanks CB. Ahh, the teef.
There was 'Master of the stool' in service of olden days. Bleeuurggh! It's Too Much Info (TMI) to explain it. It is what it says on the tin!

Grom of the Stole, that genteel courtier in charge of the royal close. Oh my. Indeed. Bleeuurggh! Swing open the windows wide.

Thanks N. lol. Crypticbard and I are on about Master of the stool. It's Too Much Info. I thought it was something to do with royal chairs/stools. Well, it is about the 'throne'. Swoon!
