Tune: Laudes Domini
('When morning gilds the sky')
***********
Each day, Lord, do you give
To us, and so we live
You give us all good things
So worship each one brings
Trusting you for today
To show us your will, way
Help us your time to wait
You shall not act too late
But when it be ready
Your time shall surely be
May we not judge before
Each thing comes to pass sure
To live in serving you
As your true servants do
If called early or late
To tend your vineyard's state
When last shall be first paid
To first last payments made
Thankful we have any
Blessings, few or many
'Tis all to us by grace
Throughout the human race
You bring salvation near
By Christ our Saviour dear

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 6.6.6. 6.6.6. format. It really needs a refrain for lines 3 and 6, as in the video. Or rhyme lines 1,2,3, and then rhyme lines 4,5,6. Hopefully my arrangement does not jar the hymn-poem.

Gratitude for each day is a wonderful thing. Very thoughtfully penned my friend.
Thanks Bella.
