Did You Know? I Never Liked Sushi

mfhanyx_

You call me on my phone

It's messed up cause you know you were wrong

But I'd rather just be alone

I don't wanna think of you all night long

Still I don't think I'll be getting any sleep

Cause we both always loved really hard

And I know I've sunk six foot deep

As, once upon a time, I folded all my cards

We both know it's not so simple anymore

We don't show none of our dimples anymore

Cause we know that's not the extent of what I bore

Cause we know these walls can't have no doors

And now the silent tears are streaming

Yet I can't even wish to be dreaming

Cause all I see is nightmares

Until all I know is that the night dares

For me to jump back into your familiar arms

To jump back, so I can feel so warm

To jump back, ignoring those screeching alarms

You send me a voicemail

Full of heartbreaking silence

You think you're chasing your own tail

And I don't see how you're so dense

When you always got me so, so tense

Leaving me unable to think or sense

We both know we never had any balance

You send me another voicemail

Naming our favourite sushi place

And I really don't want to bail

Mascara, lipstick, and some foundation base

I grab my shoes, hurry to our favourite place

Sobbing already, mascara streaking down my face.

That sushi place should be given high status. Love, should come with a health warning.
