This is the message, that God be all light

No darkness in Him, but all clear and bright

 

If we say we have fellowship with Him

But live in darkness, sin, our life is grim

 

For then we do lie, and not the truth do

But living in the light, restored anew

 

Then we have fellowship, one another

With each believing sister and brother

 

And the blood of Jesus cleanses from sin

Brings us forgiveness, washes us within
