Tune: Servant Song
('Brother, sister, let me serve you')
Mark 10 v.42-45
*********
Jesus unto disciples said
In the gospel it be read
Spoke of the way of His service
They did learn, attend to this
He said, You know they which are here
So appointed, it be clear
Accounted as rulers, they lord
It o'er others, deed and word
And their great ones do exercise
Authority then, no lies
But shall not be so among you
Learn my way of service true
Who desires to be great midst you
Shall be your minister too
Serving others, and who will be
chief, let them be servants, see
To be servants unto all, for
I the Son of Man for sure
Came not to be ministered to
But to minister to you
To minister, serve, and to give
His life, that through Him we live
Give his life [a] ransom for many
Saviour for all folk He be

Thanks Gold. Don't invite me to serve you as a butler, at meals with your friends. I will only add water when the wine is poured! lol.
